TI-84 Plus graphing calculators offer the ability to easily run programs and apps, such as quadratic equation solvers and Gameboy emulators. While these programs are certainly useful, there are times when you may wish to remove them from your calculator.
The process to remove them from your calculator is a bit unintuitive, but is not difficult in the slightest. This guide applies to every calculator in the TI-84 family, including the TI-84 Plus CE, the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition, the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, etc. Let’s get started!
Step-by-Step Guide
Step One: Press [2nd], [+] to open the Calculator’s memory options
Step Two: Select “Mem Management/Delete” from the menu by pressing [2] (or by scrolling down to it and pressing enter)
Step Three: Press [7] to select the “Prgm…” option (Or “Apps…” if it is an App)
Step Four: Scroll down to the program or game you wish to delete. Press the [DEL] key.
Step Five: It will now ask you if you are sure that you want to delete the program. Select “Yes”.
Step Six: Congratulations! You have successfully deleted a program on your TI-84 Calculator. You can exit the memory options by pressing [2nd], and then [Mode].
